Containers: What to do with Elysia's Containers?

When you order an Elysia Retail product you will either get it in a glass Jar or a Recyclable Container.

But instead of putting them in the bin after you have finished with your yummy product, Why not re-use it!

Here are some tips on what to do with your Containers:

REUSE FOR FOOD, OR STORAGE:

Why bother buying new Tupperware when you have containers that will last for a long time! Save the containers and use them as Tupperware.

Or you can also use them to store your seeds, nuts, or other food items. But make sure to label them, this is a great way to know what you have in your house!

USE THEM FOR PLANT POTS:

This is a great way to reuse your containers, use them as plant pots. Don’t bother buying new pots to house your seedlings, repurpose your containers by adding holes to the bottom for drainage.

REGROW YOUR HERB & VEG USING SCRAPS:

Also, have you ever wondered what you should do with the ends of your Parsnips, Carrots or any Root Vegetables?

Or have you ever wondered how you could grow herbs from a sprig?

Well, this is how:

Using your containers, fill them up with a little bit of water, and pop your Root Vegetable End into the water face up, likewise, cut the end of your spring and place it in the water. Give it a couple of days a voila you will start seeing it grow again.

After a couple of weeks you can pop this in a pot and within a month or so you will have a new range of vegetables and herbs all made from the bits you would throw away!

FINALLY, IF ALL ELSE FAILS... RECYCLE.

If you have a way to many and you can’t give them to anyone or find ways to repurpose them… well, then you can recycle them!
