'We Feed the World' - Event
On the 12th of October we catered the launch of the We Feed the World Exhibition down at The Bargehouse - OXO Tower Wharf, an event organised by The Gaia Foundation in partnership with Cafe Direct and Divine Chocolate.

The exhibition was in celebration of small-scale farming and agro-ecology, in order to raise awareness of how a fair and just farming system regenerates the Earth without costing the planet. It brought together an international team of farmers, award-winning photographers, NGOs, the food sovereignty movement and ethical businesses amongst a powerful collation of images.

Working alongside Fair an independent sustainable spirit brand who like us, source their spirits ethically and sustainably. Espresso martinis were the order of the night, with the coffee being supplied by Café Direct.

Our canapés consisted of sun-kissed wonky vegetables served on sourdough from Oliver's Bakery, A pulp cracker topped with fresh cow curd, black olives and fresh herbs, handmade tortellini filled with seasonal vegetables, and mushroom and ricotta gnocchi.
We partnered with 'Divine Chocolate' - 'the only chocolate company in the world which is 100% Fairtrade and owned by cocoa farmers' for our sweet treat to finish the evening, a pulp loaf from 'Nibs Etc.' dipped in Divine's dark chocolate and topped with candied oranges.
What a great evening!
